Mohawk Packing s brands include Farmers Hickory, which markets ham and bacon; Shenson, which markets four varieties of corned beef; and The Real McCoy, which markets brisket and round corned beef. Mohawk s parent organization, John Morrell & Company, is a wholly owned and independently managed subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, one of the largest vertically integrated producers of processed meat and fresh pork in the United States.
