I have for many years employed the services of traditional, great reputation, dentists and at the age of 76 it all went really bad. Actually their work had always been the opposite of healthful-but I didn't know it until my whole dental structure literally fell apart.Their approach was thoroughly unenlightened --but that was all I knew to do-and all they knew to do. Fortunately, It was urged that I try a new path, and most fortunately I was referred to Dr. Tolstunov. I have worked with him for a year. Stupendously positive experience. He participated in planning to rebuild, essentially recreate, my bite before beginning to do any intervention without first considering the whole structure and fit and function of my mouth. For the first time in my Dentistry a working plan was first presented and then methodically prepared for and the followed. He interacted with another dentist of my choice, both acting as a team to create it all anew. Instead of old decaying bridges, homes for bacteria and decay, he created a new structure, essentially a Prosthodontic approach. He performed, over the year, 25 implants to create a new structure which supports natural function. For the very first time in my life I am comfortable. No more pockets of decay which need to be drilled and filled and pulled and bridged. I am still not finished, but I am deeply grateful to have left old Dentistry for a totally healthful newer approach. I am actually surprised at this practitioner's brilliance, skill, sensitivity, and care. His capability and training has at times been awesome for me. I recommend him gratefully.

This has been an unbalanced evaluation, but I can't find any down-side to add balance. One further word, you pay for what you get. His careful approach has been greatly apparent in the lack of any failed procedures. No failure rate at all--that is worth everything to me. Truly professional.
