Founded in 1910, the Jewish Community Federation is a nonprofit organization that fundraises for and supports Jewish organizations, agencies, programs and services in Israel and worldwide. The federation s staff and volunteers help to create a Jewish community by working in partnership with many agencies, organizations and individuals. Its programs support several local beneficiary agencies, the Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center, the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center, Berkeley Hillel, B nai B rith Youth Organization, Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School, Congregation Beth Ami Nursery School and Brandeis Hillel Day School. The Jewish Community Federation serves San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma counties in California.
