Founded in 1985, FPA Multifamily, LLC is a real estate investment firm utilizing institutional private equity for apartment investments. The firm has transacted on approximately 85,000 apartment units valued in excess of $7.0 billion and realized investments on over 300 buildings in excess of 55,000 units for over $3.8 billion. FPA Multifamily, LLC and its affiliated property management and general contracting companies employ over 100 professionals and 750 onsite employees who together operate a portfolio of approximately 26,600 apartment units valued at $3.2 billion. The firm is a Manager of equity capital for 10 of the Top 100 US Foundations & Endowments, foreign and domestic pension funds, family offices and top tier fund of funds. Currently, the firm is investing through its value-add focused FPA Apartment Opportunity Fund V which will acquire approximately $1.4 billion of assets and its core plus focused FPA Core Plus Fund III which will acquire approximately $500 million of assets. The firm has also been recognized on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s (NMHC) Top 50 Apartment Owners in the United States in 2015 and 2016, the Commercial Property Executive’s 2015 Top 50 Property Managers and Institutional Real Estate, Inc.’s Top 150 Global Investment Managers 2015.
