Alliance Travel is an airline consolidator and tour operator. Founded in 1991, the company provides travel content and fulfillment services to airlines, hotels, travel agents and e-retailers. As a privately held company, it offers accounting and reconciliation services for clients. Alliance Travel utilizes an automated e-ticketing system to handle quality control and file finishing tasks. The company also provides vacation packages and private label programs. It manages the calculation of loyalty points that are accumulated and used by loyalty program members. Alliance Travel manages fares for airline, car and cruise reservations. The company assists travel agencies with a variety of back-office functions, including sales and refunds accounting, commission determination and collection management, over dues, reconciliation and general ledger accounts. Alliance Travel provides clients with sales reports and identifies under collections, over reporting and unaccounted ticket sales. It has partnerships with Lufthansa, Air Pacific and US Airways.

What an awfully incompetent co...

What an awfully incompetent company! They cancelled a trip and failed to contact us. We only found once we were at the airport. When we called to check everything, no one answers the phone so you have to leave a message and it takes them 2 hours to get back to you. I would urge people to go with another company, one that you can trust and who have courteous workers offering to help you- they just hung up on me. I wouldn't have given it any stars but I have to leave a rating
