The Department of Environmental Health, located in San Diego, offers environmental protection services through its divisions, including community health, hazardous materials, food and housing, and land and water quality. Its hazardous materials division is responsible for regulating hazardous materials business plans, chemical inventory, and underground storage tanks and risk management plans.
