Market 32 Produce

Walking into the corner store of market 32, you are greeted with a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables stored in huge vats. On the back wall is a chalkboard menu of smoothies and other healthy treats. There are tubs of assorted nuts and fresh bread. The modern décor combined with the traditional farmer’s market makes this a great neighborhood store in the East Village. There are eight 30 minute parking spots conveniently located in front of the store, which makes a stop in for fresh fruit or a healthy snack a breeze. If you are in a hurry, you have the option of calling in your order and having it delivered right to your car. Or, better yet, the store offers free delivery. Matt Amoia and his family have been in the citrus business for over 50 years. The idea for a retail store started in Yuma. The first location opened on 32nd street, hence the store name “market 32.” Currently they are located on the corner of 10th Avenue and Island Avenue and hope to expand into three more stores. Right now, they are featuring an acai bowl with granola and other fresh fruit. Everything in the store is fresh, healthy, and delicious.
