Dr. Barkley has been my PCP for about 10 years. She is diligent, professional, and accessible. I trust her completely with my health. She's also very responsive...it's not uncommon to get a response from her on a weekend. I'm very happy with her as my PCP.

Dr. Barkley is the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and uncaring doctor that we have ever met. Although she was never our primary pediatrician, we we unfortunate enough to have several appointments with her because our primary pediatrician was out-of-town for an extended period of time. As new parents, we were looking forward to working with a pediatrician to help keep our baby girl healthy, as we had issues with both breastfeeding and weight gain. Instead, Dr. Barkley has several times implied that we are uncaring parents who do not care about the well-being of our child, threatened to take away our baby to put her in the NICU, forced us to come in for daily weight checks including weekend checks that required us to drive our newborn to a hospital 40 minutes away, unnecessarily referred us to other health professionals, and failed to provide any constructive advice in helping our baby. At one point, she claimed that she cared more about our baby than we did, which was ironic as she was more than an hour late to that appointment. At one appointment, she kept repeating that our baby's slow weight gain was a very serious issue and kept implying that it was our fault that this was happening to our baby. This caused my wife to burst into tears and afterwards we later learned through another doctor that Dr. Barkley suggested that my wife may have postpartum depression because she cried in the office. After we had made our dissatisfaction with her very clear and expressed our wish to be seen exclusively by our primary pediatrician moving forward, Dr. Barkley vindictively made several false statements and grossly misrepresented several interactions that we had with other medical staff in her medical notes. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed to see such unethical and dishonest conduct from a medical professional, let alone a pediatrician.
