Divya K. Reddy, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor who cares for patients of all ages. She provides primary care to infants and children and adults and seniors, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. As a family physician with advanced training in obstetrics care, Dr. Reddy can provide prenatal care and deliver babies. She also provides well woman care, including health care maintenance and contraception.Dr. Reddy is active in training medical students and residents at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She has performed research related to hospital discharge and readmission rates, as well as the relationship between fraternal twins and birth defects with respect to demographics.Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Reddy cared for patients at Monterey Bay Urgent Care in Monterey, California. She also has experience providing comprehensive primary care services to Spanish-speaking patients and families.Dr. Reddy completed a fellowship in obstetrics at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California. She completed her medical training in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Reddy earned her medical degree and a masters degree in public health at St. Georges University in Grenada.
