The San Bernardino Transitional Assistance Department administers financial support programs that are designed for persons in need of financial, nutritional and medical assistance. The department, located in San Bernardino, Calif., works with families and individuals to attain self-sufficiency and to promote work and personal responsibility. It conducts a variety of developmental programs that include California work opportunities for kids, Food Stamp, Medi-Cal, refugee resettlement, and health and child care programs.
