Needed three cable lines run, the representative, Hans, told me it would be $175 for the first line and $75 for the additional lines...they billed me at $175 for each...when I called Hans he said he would make the adjustment if I signed a contract for a monitoring service!! Are you kidding me! !! I was going to go with them for monitoring, however not after this fiasco..Oh, forgot to mention that the installer had this extremely long drill bit which was needed however drilled on an angle which resulted in a hole in the wall about a foot from the ceiling..he was a young kid and didn't have much experience. ..

Beware of this company!!! One star is to much credit. They have unqualified ppl working for their company and do not care to correct their mistakes. They send ppl to meet you that are clueless and expect you to know the lingo of what is needed. I also waited patiently for a response on the corrections from JR who came out and met me at my house to see what needed to be corrected just to be blown off without a call back. I had to contact him 3 weeks later just from him to tell me they were not going to fix messed up pre-wire without charging me for the company sending someone to meet me that was total clueless of what i wanted. Now i have an nonfunctional office space that I must run a long cord through my living-room to my bedroom to get a functional phone line bc the phone line in the office space is total worthless. Of course, I had no choice to use this company since it was through the builder. Builders Security Group definitely would not be a choice of installation of pre-wiring my home.

The best thing about T. Howell Security is they're local. From what I read they've been helping Texans for a long time and that went a long way with me. Ted Howell came out to my home, answered all my questions, gave me some free extras (yeahh!), and was able to use my existing alarm system, which I've never ever turned on, so that was an added benefit.



I highly recommend them. It's my first active alarm system and thanks to Ted I feel like an expert on security systems now.
