We contacted Superior Painting and Remodeling for an all interior re-paint quote. We have small children and were concerned about the type of the paint to be used. Ernest recommended Sherwin Williams Harmony VOC specifically for our concerns. We were absolutely thrilled with the finish and the outcome of the job. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the turnaround to get the job done. We plan on having Ernest and his crew to come back and remodel our bathrooms in the home. We recommend this business. Over all a great experience.

I have to say that I am pretty disappointed in the way the job has turned out. Yes, it looks good and the guys that worked on it were amazing in listening to our concerns, but there are a number of things that Ernest said would be done that weren't and even stopped his guys from working on it. For example:

1. Ernest said there would be two coats of paint on the main house. His explaination: "Backrolling IS the second coat." Backrolling does NOT count as a second coat of paint. Backrolling helps the first coat of paint to adhere to the house, but it does not substitute as a second coat.

2. Ernest fence would be primed and then given a second coat of paint. I watched (and he watched) as they sprayed directly to the original unfinished wood and then told me that this would be enough. Again, backrolling here also does not count as a second coat of paint. Also, not too much time later... that paint is now peeling up everywhere.

3. He said the doors would be primed and painted with a second coat of paint, and I watched as they painted one coat directly to the original unfinished door.

4. He originally told us that they do not work on Saturdays and Sundays, but then he had his guys working in 100+ degree weather Saturday and on into the night... because he had "another big job on Monday" you decided to have his men work late to finish our job. Thanks for the rush job.

His website says he prides himself on 100% customer satisfaction and I can tell you, we are most definitely NOT 100% satisfied. Yes, the house looks good but it could have looked much better. Who knows how long that will last.. a year? Two? Hardly worth the price. We went with Superior Painting because after bidding with a few other contractors, although his price was NOT the cheapest, we trusted him, his website, and his feedback reviews.

We are so happy with on our recent exterior paint job from Superior Painting! From the time we set up our initial meeting for an estimate until the job was complete, everything ran smoothly. We were treated fairly, there was constant communication throughout the job, and the work was done quickly and professionally. The results are beautiful and we feel the price was very fair for the work. We'll definitely be using Superior again for future paint and remodel projects and have already been referring friends and family to this company!

We had two projects done by Superior Painting and Remodeling. We had some interior painting done and we also had the entire exterior of our house repainted. The quality of work, professionalism and communication was excellent. Ernest and his team were terrific to work with as they were very responsive, responsible and sincere about the work they were doing for us. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

This was the second major job we contact Superior for and with good reason, it is guaranteed they will do an outstanding job! They always go above and beyond and exceed our expectations. They are honest and reliable and extremely reasonably priced. What more can one ask for?

Ernest and his crew did a wonderful job. They replaced all damaged wood, caulked the entire house, and painted the exterior of my home. I could not be happier with the experience I had with Superior. Communication was excellent, the crew was professional and courteous, and Ernest personally checked on different stages of the job and made sure I was happy through every step. We recently had the exterior of our home painted-with some minor repairs, as well as, staining of our deck/porch railing and front door by Superior Painting. We were very pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work. First of all, although Superior Painting's estimate was not the cheapest of the quotes we requested, it was a fair estimate and truly felt it was money well spent. Secondly, Ernest is lucky to have such a hard-working crew that really knows what they're doing and enjoys doing it. They were thorough, clean, careful, and professional. Can't say enough about his crew! Lastly, Ernest came by everyday to assess the progress of the work and made sure I was pleased at each stage of the job. We would definitely use them again. Our house looks great and we couldn't be happier.

We recently moved to the Spring Branch area. Our home needed a complete interior and exterior re-paint. We were able to narrow our selection of contractors to Superior. We asked them to please complete the job within a certain time frame because we needed to move in. Not only did they complete the interior and exterior before the deadline, we also contracted them for more work. They installed granite in the kithen. The house has a brand new feel to it and we love it! We appreciate the hard work by the crew and appreciate Superior for going the extra mile to get us in our home. Highly recommended!

Ernest and Superior Painting did a great job. They power washed and caulked all areas as part of a thorough preparation for painting. The crew was professional and very careful and cleaned up all areas when they were finished. Ernest personally checked on each step of their work and kept me up to date. Superior Painting did a beautiful job: they powerwashed, repaired lumber, and caulked all areas as part of a thorough prep for painting. They not only did a great job painting my house, but also repaired/re-stained the back deck on the patio and replaced weatherstripping on the doors. The crew was fantastic: very careful and cleaned up all areas when they were finished. Ernest personally checked on each step of their work. Great company!

My wife and I are so very happy with our interior paint job. We bought an older home that had nasty popcorn ceilings and old, dull paint. We had the popcorn removed and the ceilings were re-textured. The whole house was re-painted. My wife and I both feel that we have a brand "new" home with a totally new updated look. We recommend this company to our family and friends.

I noticed this company doing work for my neighbor. I asked for a business card because I wanted to have some work done in my own home. I spoke to my neighbor about the outcome of her home and she said she was extremely pleased with the work that was done. I contacted this company and asked for an estimate for an interior re-paint. The price was reasonable and was within my budget. Not only did they finish the entire re-paint before Christmas, but they made sure I was completely happy with all aspects of the job. I am now working on having them come back out to do a complete exterior re-paint in two weeks.

They are very professional. They came on time and stayed until the job was done. My job was a whole house job and it took several days. But they stayed every day working hard. They did not take many breaks, they left my home each day in good repair. I never tripped over paint cans or ladders. The paint job is beautiful. I had a lot of trim in my home and the color on my wall to the color of the trim is a perfect line. I highly recommend Superior painting and his crew. Ernest and his crew are very polite.

Wow!! That's all I could say after seeing the work completed by SUPERIOR PAINTING. They did an extraordinary job on our first home. We will definitely be using Ernest's crew again in the early Spring to have our exterior painted. I will definitely be referring his services to other colleagues and friends. When it came time to update our bathroom and do some sheetrock repair in our garage, the only company we called was Superior! This is the third time we have used this xompany and each time they have exceeded our expectations! Ernest has a crew that shows up on time, finishes the job on time and does a fabulous job! We will use them in the future and recommend them highly!

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to the Superior Painting crew and to Mr. Espinoza. The Superior crew worked round the clock to make sure our home was complete before we had relatives arrive from out of state. They painted the entire exterior of the house and the finish/color is exactly what we asked for. It wasn't an easy job as we have a two story home! My husband and I both worked with Mr. Espinoza and were pleased with the end result. We also had them re-touch and re-texture the interior sun room of our home. Prompt, courteous and great work.
