I am a certified independent Luthier, specializing in studio quality, performance level guitar repair; setups and modifications. I trained at Bryan Galloup's Luthierie School, Big Rapids MI. I have been successfully employed by Mars and Sam Ash Music, San Antonio, repairing over 1,000 fretted instruments per year. I have 25 years experience as a Machinist/Tool and Die Maker. This gives me a distinct advantage understanding tools, techniques, and mechanical operation of fretted instruments, plus the ability to measure and work accurately. My clients are: Studios, Professional Musicians, Teachers and Worship Leaders. I spent one week training with Buzz Felten and Greg Back. I am the only Level 2 Retrofitter in San Antonio. I have been Authorized by Gibson, Fender and Taylor. Currently a Member of A.S.I.A. For those wishing to fully understand their instrument setup, one-on-one instruction is available.
