My daughter's doctor gave us the number to Abrazo because we didn't know what to do. She was not ready to be a mom but a baby was on the way. We called after hours and got the nicest lady, a counselor who answered all our questions and even offered to come meet with us right away. She was easy to talk to, and put my daughter and me right at ease.



When we went to their offices, we were so impressed. It was beautiful. The whole staff was extremely professional, caring and approachable. They went out of their way to meet my daughter's needs, and expressed concern for me as well. Through Abrazo we found the most wonderful adoptive family, and they too had nothing but good things to say about this agency.



Abrazo Adoptions does an excellent job of educating its clients about open adoption and why it's important for kids who are adopted, and as a result, my grandson's family has kept in touch and we see them each year at Camp Abrazo, the agency's summer reunion. They offer ongoing counseling for their birthparents, and also have a Forum on their website where anyone whose been impacted by adoption can find support.



I've heard plenty of bad reports about other adoption agencies in San Antonio, but we are very proud to be part of the Abrazo community, and we are very glad we found them.
