Dr. Jason Burns did my surgery and he did a fabulous job and now he follows me. The wait time is fine at the location I go to, but at the medical center it can get lengthy.

Wife had cataract surgery on one eye by office in Del Rio. Everything seemed ok till the end and she tried to order glasses. The person fitting her glasses tried to charge us $500 even though my wifes insurance covers eyewear after cataract surgery. The woman made no effort to research my wifes policy and had a take it or leave it attitude. Of course we left it. Also the Dr. Walters seemed aloof and uninterested, and was reluctant to answer a question I had. I asked him twice and twice he dodged my question. He was kind of odd, walking around with his nose in the air. We had an early appointment one morning and we were there when he arrived for work. He walked right past the ladies behind the counter and didn't even say good morning to them or us. Never again.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit. I had a 2:40 PM appointment for my six month old. I got there and was greeted. The facility seemed nice and they had coffee available for the patients... which now I understand why since you spend you're whole day here waiting! I spent a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes waiting. With only 10 minutes with either the assistant or doctor.



After complaining after being put in the waiting room a third time with a hungry, sleepy baby, they said that they understood and everyone says the same thing and it is ridiculous. I could tell she knew what to say since I'm sure she hears the same thing all the time. This should not be a common occurrence. Why are so many appointments being overbooked? If you know there is an appointment for a baby, like my six month old, why are you going to make them wait hours?



I was incredibly upset with the service and wait time here. It was unacceptable. The doctor, Dr. Cohen, was thorough and the staff was friendly, but that does not make up for the time they let you wait out there. Once you're in the second waiting room, just look around - so many people sleeping and waiting there for at least 45 minutes... and this is after the initial wait in the first waiting room.



They wanted to do a follow-up but I refused to schedule one for my son. I am not having my six month old baby wait in a doctor's office because they want to overbook people. I'll pay for the most recommended doctor, Dr. McCash, to confirm everything instead.

Ran in for my appt with bulging red eyes & not :"a clue "as to why. Dr. Evans spoke very softly & slowly. Kept me calm & explained what he was doing and what outcome would be good or bad. Even when he ran out of ideas and still no answers, I was still calm and asked what else we should try? He gave me a list of things I needed to get done and we exchanged cell numbers. We kept in touch through it all. After 4 days with slow progression he kept in touch promising to do his best at making sure my eye problem does not get worse. I believed in him without any doubt. Once my "problem" went away, Dr. Evans ran me through a whole other set of tests and got a very ecstatic clean bill of health. We were both very happy and I am glad to refer him to some of my friends who also have Lupus. Thank You So Very Much Dr. Evans!!! Sincerely, Lisa A.F.

MCOA is a great place! Staff and doctors are very intelligent, helpful, and friendly. I had my LASIK done by Dr. Jason Burns, and I am so happy! I've seen other doctors here over the years and have always been satisfied. I recommended this place to all my friends and family

My child got the special eye care that she needed. Wonderful doctor and staff!
