My 2013 vehicle was rear ended on Dec. 13, 2014. I took my car there because my father, brother and I had done business with Mr. Martinez Sr. He has since retired and his son, Adolph Martinez Jr. has taken over.

It is now February 25, 2014 (2 ½ months later) and I have not gotten my car back. The insurance of the individual who hit me paid Martinez Jr. on December 18. He cashed the check on December 19. When I have called the shop, he doesn’t answer. I left message and he later told me that he doesn’t know how to retrieve messages. When the insurance adjuster has called, he hasn’t answered. Who doesn’t know how to retrieve messages from an answering machine?

When I stopped by and talked to him (twice), he told me that he has started and would be ready “next week”. I would ask for my car back but since the insurance company has already paid him, there isn’t much I can do about it. Oh, he also took vacation for a week to ten days in late December. I guess he now had money to spend.

Customers, be aware, he is a liar, a crook, and lacks the responsibility of running a legitimate business. His own father, when I spoke to him, called him a person who lacks the responsibility to manage his business. He told me he doesn’t know why he lies the way he does, but he does lie.

I hope that I will get my car soon. I don’t know if I can take any legal action against this crook, but I plan on trying.
