I took my cocker spaniel to Kellys for the first time today. (2-26-15) I have taken my dog to another groomer since the day I got her. BUT due to the fact that I refuse to ever step foot in that vets office ever again, I had to change groomers. I was so impressed with my Chula when I picked her up. She was cut beautifully, had a ribbon around her neck, and had pink toenails!! I was also informed that she had a skintag. We've never known that before. Apparently the last groomer just shaved it off all the time. :( I would recommend Kelly to anyone who needs a groomer!!! She's very hands on with your pet!!!

Kelly has been grooming my thick-haired collie and my pomeranian/mix for the past few years! I've always appreciated her thoroughness and suggestions when it comes to the health of my dogs. She insists that all shots be current and many groomers do not, which puts other dogs at risk. She recently found that a previous vet's groomer did not remove the undercoat from my very thick haired collie, yet charged me a LOT more to groom both dogs. Kelly was unavailable at the time, so I went to someone else. Big mistake!! At that time I also had a bad experience with this same vet's groomer when both dogs came back with kennel cough after grooming and of course, this spread to my other dogs and two had to go on meds. which cost me even more money. And yes, they were current with their kennel cough vaccinations. Never happened before in all the years I've had my dogs groomed, bathed or boarded. The flea/tick topical I had been using judiciously did not keep the fleas and ticks off which gave my collie tapeworms. The vet's groomer told me to buy tapeworm med. from the feed store for $6.00 which turned out to be the wrong medicine for TAPEWORMS. Kelly found that my collie had even more tapeworms when she recently groomed my collie, and this required that I purchase the much more expensive meds. at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital. I also had to change the flea/tick topical from Advantix to Comfortis since Kelly found Advantix wasn't working for my collie.

Thank you, Kelly, for all the hard work you and your assistant put into grooming my dogs yesterday. Everybody's happy.
