My son attended the Jersig Center at the age of four, he had the speech development of an 18 month old child at time. The Jersig Center administered several tests to see what type of therapy would be needed to overcome his disability. We were very pleased and fortunate to have Dr. Paul Hardy oversee the development of our child's speech. He was placed in an enviroment of interns that worked well with our son and several other children who had the same difficulty. Over the months, his speech began to improve and he has been able to develop his speech quite well. He has since graduated from high school and is now attending college. I am so grateful that we were able to work with such wonderful people. The Jersig Center gave my son the oppurtunity to develop in many ways. He was going to be labeled as an autistic child by the school district, but the services at the Jersig Center proved otherwise. I always recommend the Jersig to anyone who has children with speech problems.
