Provided by YPmobileThe food is always fresh and excellent, with generous portions, and the service is second to none. You are treated like family by Keisha Jackson and her family. It’s easily my favorite restaurant in the San Antonio area!#highly recommended#good food#kid friendly#reasonable prices#good ambiance#friendly staff

Provided by YP.comMe and my family come here almost every Sunday for a late breakfast. In general their plates are insanely giant, but my favorite are the massive breakfast tacos! Not only does Grumpys have great food but it has that nice family run restaurant feel.

Provided by YPmobileeverything is to die for! plates are gorgeous, food is scrumptious, service is flawless and there's a cute little girl every weekend. Mr & Mrs Grumpy are a great bunch & not so grumpy at all! there's a girl that works there that keeps you guessing with hair color but I once had her & she was phenomenal. one of their newer waitresses is a very sweet small Mexican girl & her service is as well amazing. I can't complain I love this little diner. doing amazing under fine management & ownership.

Provided by YP.comMy family loves the food here. Nachos, burgers, enchilada plate...it's all good. Wife and mine's favorite are the bean and cheese nachos. Everybody is always so happy there, including Mr. and Mrs. Grumpy. If you want breakfast on saturday and sunday morning, I suggest you call it in and take it home, because it gets hoppin' quick! The Chefs and Waitstaff do an awesome job! Not to mention the cool dude at the front counter!

Provided by YP.comI eat at grumpy's at least once a week for lunch. I have never had a bad experance or meal there. The servers are fast and frendly and the food is always good and the price is very affordable. Tea is always included with the lunch special and that helps keep the prices down. The atmosphere is casul and the decor a charming mix of antiques and junk and sports stuff. The owner does a lot of chairty work and that just makes the whole experance a little sweeter for the diner.

Provided by YP.comGrumpy's is the type of place one would go if they plan on being a contestant of The Biggest Loser. Expect to wait on the covered porch if you arrive during the breakfast and lunch rush hours. It will be worth it. The fare ranges from breakfast tacos to chicken fried steak and everything in between including pancakes, pork chops, burgers, and onion rings. For under $10 you can have a full meal with leftovers. Until future expansion, they don't serve after lunch except for every other Friday.
