Very shady business practices

After your trial class, it is like being picked apart by used car salesman. They cram a 3 year contract with pre-payment to save a few bucks. Who knows where your child will be in 3 years. There is an one year contract, but they are hesitant to mention that. Your child will test for a belt every 2 months no matter if they have learned everything or not. The kicker for me was my son had not earned the chance to test for his next belt (which is $50 each time). Victory Martial Arts told me it wasn't up to me---they made the final decision. Excuse me? No one other then my husband or myself makes the decisions for our children. Mr. Elder is in bad standing with the Better Business Burreau, has changed the name of his business several times, doesn't follwo through when taken to task. Children too young are enrolled & charged huge fees! They don't care as long as they get your money. Instruction wise it was okay. When a student is doing the forms or moves wrong they don't correct so they get it right. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Finally, the equipment you order like all the body pads have the Victory logo. These are not accepted at an ATA sponsored tournament. You work too hard for your money to have Mr. Elder & his crew take it!
