Awful. I rcvd neck injections from him 2 yrs ago, he put me to sleep which he should not have done. As soon as I woke up I was in excruciating pain, doctor, and nurse at facility didn't seem to care. As soon as I tried to stand my right leg gave out, symptoms progressively got worse. I called for 3 days, finally MA returned my call and told me it couldn't possibly be his fault. 2 yrs later it is still progressively getting worse, nerve damagto right lower extremity to the point now that it is extremely painful to wear a shoe, neuropathy so bad now its difficult to stand, walk, or even sit. And if my husband wasn't with me, he did not listen to my complaints. Also treated me like a drug seeker when I kept telling him the pain meds weren't helping, so he did blood test, and guess what, alot of meds won't work on me. Not once did he call to check on me after all my neuro complaints after procedure, nor did I get an apology for being treated like a drug seeker. I am now in constant pain, severe neuropathy, and minimal sensation to the outside of leg-foot, but on the inside feels like it is on fire constantly, like i have no skin on the top of my foot, on the foot pad or toes, and have circulation issues also. I actually gave myself 3rd degree burns because I can't feel the outside of my leg. If you ask any other doctor, they will tell you that you never put a patient out/to sleep while working on the neck, because of potential damage that can be done. I am a nurse and I knew better, but I was so tired and in so much pain when he asked me, I said yes to sedation, my knowledge didn't even cross my mind. For 2 yrs I have been dealing with the progression of the damage he did, neurologist 2 yrs ago was hopeful that the symptoms would resolve, but have only gotten worse. Started with my leg giving out unexpectedly, urinary incontinence, numbness to right buttock, and coldness to right great toe. Now numbness from right buttock to my toes, and firey, burning pain from toes to mid calf, and feeling of no skin to top of foot, toes, and foot pad. I am a nurse, so very difficult to work when it hurts like crazy to wear any shoe ( I have spent hundreds of dollars on special shoes, I keep 5 different types in my car to switch out of throughout shift), stand, walk, or sit. It's very painful, distracting, and depressing. Lots of things I can no longer do. I'm only in my 40's, but doesn't feel like it.
