Best Place Ever!!

I absolutely LOVE this daycare. I could not have imagined having my kids at any other place. They have the most friendly and caring staff. I can honestly say they are like family. I really appreciate everything they have done for my kids and I. My oldest son was the first one to attend this daycare when he was 2 years old. He is now 7 years old and in school, he always mentions how much he misses his daycare teachers. I also have a 4 year old son who recently started school but attended the daycare since he was about 2 months old. He loved it there so much he especially loved his teacher. She was loving and very caring. We were always greeted with a smile and treated with respect. I know it's hard to find a place where you feel comfortable leaving your children but I guarantee you won't have that problem if you leave your children in the care of these wonderful ladies.

Try It !

I was very skeptical and expressed my feelings to Mari one of the teachers, because of the review I had read. I also inquired information from Licensing and I was very happy to find out they were regularly inspected and were doing great. My child was very happy and learning which went above my expectations of 1,2, Me child care. I have recently removed my child because my husband was layed off from his job. And my son misses and is constantly asking to go back to his school. So I have learned not to believe all I read. But to tell people about your concerns. Patricia & Mari you are greatly missed by ELIJAH!

BROKEN COLLARBONE - RUN!

The day my daughter turned 3 months old (7/13/09) she was dropped from a standing position by staff who was carelessly trying to turn off a ceiling fan with my daughter in her arms. The explanation I received was my daughter "rolled out of the lady's arms and onto the floor". The staff then waited 40 mins to call and tell me my daughter had been dropped. I was then told "Don't worry you won't even have to take her to the doctor because she didn't hit her head - she's fine. When she hit the ground she did scream but that's just because she was scared." My response to them was No, it's because she's HURT!. Mind you the carpet is nothing more then a rug on a tile floor. I then asked them why it took them so long to call and tell me my daughter had been dropped and was told "they had to pacify the teacher." Mind you, the teacher was of sound mind to sit and write out a 2 page statement only 5 mins after my daughter was dropped to the floor. At the time my child was dropped the well being of teacher was obviously more important than that of my daughter, keep in mind that during all of this EMS was NEVER called.. My daughter ended up suffering from a broken collarbone due to their negligence and DID in fact hit her head. I was lucky enough that there was no swelling on her brain considering it was over an hour after the accident happened before i could get her into the ER. From the hospital I had to call to find out if my daughter had been vomiting or if she had passed out when she fell and was told "Oh, No, in fact she was doing so well, we finished feeding her her bottle!." If you are considering placing your child at this center, please reconsider. Don't put your child at risk of something happening. Take it from a mother who knows, take it from a mother who is trying to get her 4 month old baby girl's collarbone healed. To this day (8/26/09) I have NEVER heard the words "I'm sorry" or "Is she alright?" from anyone at the center including management staff.

Sanitizing- not a priority here!

This daycare is not under good management, they need to be investigated. Firstly when I dropped off my son there was only 1 teacher to about 20 kids (1-2 years old). My son was sent home with the wrong bottle! They forgot to give my son his medicine because she says "there was soo much going on!" You dont forget important things such as medicine. Lastly, I was fed up with this facility when I picked up my son and his diaper was so wet that it went through his clothes. They do not have enough teacher per children and are careless about belongings.
