I was referred to Val's due to a front end noise that my mechanic could not isolate. John took the Element for a ride, couldn't figure it out, took it into the bay and couldn't see anything wrong. His asst. couldn't find the noise either. John waited about 30 minutes and told me he was "thinking" about different possibilities. He then took the Honda back into the svc bay and came back and said he thought the noise might be brake pads making the noise. Since I installed the brakes he told me to put adhesive on the back of the pads. THAT SOLVED THE PROBLEM! They did not charge me for their diagnosis and John's diagnosis solved my problem. Highly recommended.

The $35.00 look at my car fee is wrong and they don't apply any of that amount to work done. Very deceiving in how they do business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I was charged an alignment fee of $49.00 plus tax and also had to pay the look at my car fee of $ 35.00 plus tax. I hope the $ 20 bucks you made on me was worth a costumer...Oh wait I have tons of friends with cars that will never use this business.CLEAN UP YOUR ACT and stop over charging hard working people.

We have been to Val's several times to have our cars aligned. Always spot on and always very affordable. I would highly recommend for alignment services - do my own brakes so I cannot speak to that.

I was sent to this place by my mechanic for an alignment that he was unable to do at the time. After the young men at Val’s look at my vehicle, I was given an estimation that was over $500 because it had other issues. After I advised Jon Hansen that I would not be able to make the repairs at his shop due to the amount, he charged me $35 for the estimate. I did not have $35 but Jon accepted $30. I was surprised as my mechanic told me there are no charges for estimates at this shop. I later called Jon and explained to him that my mechanic told me that he was not suppose to charge me for the estimate and that I would like to have the money back. Jon became very hostile and yelled at me telling me that I was the kind of person that would go to places like movies and expect to get services for "free." I told him that was not true because I always pay for all services where I know the cost beforehand. Jon did not have anything posted about a charge for the estimates. Jon told me that I could swing by the shop and pick up the money but I did not feel it was safe to do so given the hostility he showed over the phone. I wrote him a letter and asked him to mail a check to my residence. In response, Jon mailed me a questionnaire for me to answer in writing including the name of my mechanic, his address and his phone number to include anyone else that had said anything about him. I did not fill out the questionnaire. I was unemployed at the time and had a sick animal and needed money for the veterinarian visit so I went back to Val’s and ask for the money. Jon Hansen said he would not give me the money until I provided him with all the information he requested. I noticed that now he has posted something about charging for estimates. I explained to Jon that I was unable to provide him with the information because my mechanic had moved. Jon waved money in his hand and said "here’s your money, it’s yours once you give me the information." I explained to him that I was not working and I needed to take my dog to the vet. Jon just looked like he didn’t care about it and I left. Since then I have received information that Jon takes advantage of women and that he is a religious type that is just concerned with the almighty dollar. I believe Jon Hansen is a crook. I had to check a star on this so I picked one star but in reality I would not recommend women, people of color or low income people to do any business with Mr. Jon Hansen at Val’s Alignment & Brake

like these guys. old school attitude. finally a place that can properly align my bmw. i've wasted so much money at other shops trying to get my tires to wear better. i like that they use good quality parts, even though they could find cheaper parts for my car. thanks val's for great work.

I have been very happy with Val's. They were recommended by my mechanic. He said he wouldn't let anybody else do an alignment. They have been very good to work with. Honesty in the car repair business is vitally important and Val's fills that bill.
