Dr Haws treated me for a compound fracture on Dec 30,2011 and I have been healing beautifully! No inflamation of the scar, the bone has healed straight and I am headed for PT. Well DONE!!

Disappointing at best. The staff is nice enough, but I have never been to an ortho that simply didn't examine my injury at all. Took x-rays and a CT scan and that was it until I asked them to drain the fluid from my knee. I broke my Fibia and my Tibia plateu, and sprained my knee very badly. The PA gave me a walking boot and meds then sent me on my way. After trying to walk on it for a few days, my knee was still swollen to almost grotesque size. I had to call to see if they were sure that there was nothing wrong with my knee. It's been almost 2 months since my injury and my knee is still swollen and my leg is very painful to walk on. Their opinion seems to bee that it's been long enough it should be healed, there fore it is. The swelling and the pain is just in my head. This has been THE oddest experience with a physician I have ever had. I wouldn't go to them for another injury period. And regret seeing them in the first place. I believe I truly could have progressed further ha
