Founded in 1979, McCullough Jones Land Company owns and operates Stor-n-Lock storage facilities. Stor-n-Lock entered the self-storage industry in its infancy. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where it developed its first location, 15 additional storage centers were developed in Utah, Idaho, and Colorado, making Stor-n-Lock the largest privately owned storage chain in the Intermountain area. With its expansion into California, Stor-n-Lock now owns and operates close to 1 million square feet of storage space, enclosing nearly 10,000 storage rooms. Each storage center is designed with the needs of its customers in mind, including: resident manager teams, masonry exteriors, wide drive aisles, automated security features, easy access from main thoroughfares, bright lights, and daily lock checks.
