This is THE place for bikes in the Intermountain west, whether you are a novice or a serious racer. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, not snooty like some places. The owner (Ryan) and his wife are former professional racers and are well-known in the cycling community. The shop is second to none. Buy a bike there, you are part of the family -- they remember you, take care of you. I would never go anywhere else.

I had Contender do some work on my older Trek carbon bike. The actual bill came in under their estimate. The bike feels better than it has the last several years. They were willing to put on parts that I supplied, without trying to persuade me to purchase something else. They kept me informed during the process, giving me updates and options. The work was done on time as scheduled and under budget, but the quality is superior to what I have had experience at other shops. I highly recommend their service department. Excellent !!!
