I previously would have given this location a 4 stars, but after tonight's experience, I can only give it a one star. I have been eating at Cafe Trang since the 1990's- at the old location on 9th s I think and then the one at Cottonwood mall. I am a loyal customer. Tonight I found a hair in my Malaysian Rice Noodles with yellow curry. It was not my hair. I have long, curly medium colored hair and this was short, straight and dark. It was gross. I was about halfway done with my dish. My server apologized and took away the dish. He gave us our check. I was expecting either a partial compensation or another plate of food (a half size portion would have been great, since that was what was left), but he did neither. I then told who I guess is the manager as we were leaving, telling him that it was hard to want to remain a customer when nothing was done about hair in the food. He said ok and we walked out the door. i can tell you that even though I previously at at this location monthly, I won't be there again. I did speak to the manager of the downtown location and he was very gracious. He also informed me that this location has different owners, so when I am craving that good Vietnamese food, I'll head downtown. Its a bit of a drive, but worth it for me.

The food was fantastic! Loved the Mongolian Beef. And we voted this was the best egg drop soup ever. Prices were very reasonable! Mostly, the restaurant was charming, casual, family friendly and CLEAN. The service was personalized, attentive, suggestive and HAPPY - what a breath of fresh air! Going to try the Draper location as well!
