A.A. Callister Corp was founded in 1952 and opened its doors selling wool. Folks started asking for other items besides the wool, and AA Callister started becoming the specialized horse store it is now. Built on the principles of fair prices, great selection and quality products, AA Callister still tries to earn every customer's business through great customer service.

I am extremely pleased with my dealings with AA Callisters. I was on the hunt for a good ranch saddle for my husbands birthday. He and I are very picky about our saddles and the situation forced me to be a needy customer. I was worried about spending several thousand dollars on a saddle I had never put my hands on. A lovely gal named Kelsey who works in the tack department helped me from start to finish and it was a multiple day affair. The saddle arrived to me much faster than I had anticipated and looked even better than it had in the multiple extra photos I had asked them to send me. Tree was solid, all the riggings were in good order and there wasn't a scratch on it. All the measurement they had given me were accurate and it fit onto our horses just like it was supposed to. It was shipped out the same day as payment was recieved. They made my first "sight unseen" saddle purchase go incredibly smoothly. Everyone who helped me was proffessional and personable. I will absolutely purchase from them again in the future.

I have always been satisfied with the customer service - UNTIL I had a problem and had to deal with Dustin the Floor Manager. I was treated with the lowest level of respect & customer service I have ever encountered by someone in a management position ! The boots were sightly tight - they offered to stretch them.No mention of discoloration or damage caused by doing so- only that once stretched they can't be returned/understandable. When I picked them up I noticed a bump - the girl said "oh I can fix that"& left for a min. returned& PUT the boots in the box. When I went to wear them for the 1st time I noticed the BUMP (still there) & DISCOLORATION on both.
When I returned to the store ( West Valley) I tried to explain that the boots were DAMAGED. It's a long story ! He is RUDE- the first words out of his mouth - which were" I'm going to tell you right now you are not going to exchange these boots" to "did you read the sign - I need you to go stand over there and read that sign". BAD !

They tried to sell me Fast Track and when I asked the difference between them she said "nothing" unfortunately I CAN read and one was for horses specificly. And I can assure you everyone from my barn had had a terrible experience . Worst customer service Ever!!

Great store

This store has so much to offer. They have such a great selection on everything to do with horses. Great saddles cinches and raines. Oh, and if you need some great boots they have them as well but they are on the pricey side so don't expect anything cheap but they are great quality.

They won't support their products.....

Stay away! Shop elsewhere! Save yourself the time/expense/ and B.S.!!! They won't stand behind what they sell. Nothing but extremely poor and meaningless excuses. I have purchased from them faithfully for 14 years and will never buy from them again! Upper management is poor! Yes Bonnie, I'm talking about you! It's a real shame, I like to support local businesses.

AA Calisters has a lot to offe...

AA Calisters has a lot to offer, but it's prices are Way above what they should be. You can get the same thing Much cheaper at almost any other tack store. It's prime location and huge selection make it a place to go. But the prices are outrageous.
