Refuses to uphold 5-year Workmanship Warranty

Moser Roofing installed a $6000 roof on our manufactured home 6 weeks ago - within 1 1/2 weeks of the install - the roof leaked in two places during a mild rainstorm. The foreman (or possibly the new owner of Moser) brought a contractor to my home that he said would fix the damages. However, he wanted us to sign an agreement that would relieve Moser of ALL liability to any damages arising from HIS contractor working in our home and since we declined (what is the reason for hiring licensed, bonded and insured contractors if you relieve them of all liability for the work they do?) I have NOW received three letters (two from their attorney!) stating they now want to be relieved of ALL liability and obligations including their 5-year workmanship warranty - on my new and very expensive $6000 roof. ???? What that tells us is they KNOW they did substandard work on our roof and it will leak every time it rains and they want off the hook. I have filed complaints now with the Dept. of Justice, the Oregon CCB, the Oregon BBB, and blogged about my personal experience with their shoddy worksmanship, bullying intimidation practices with senior citizens (I am 64). BEWARE!
