I highly recommend Jim and his exotics! I contacted Jim a few weeks back in regards to a baby capuchin monkey I was seeking. He was very helpful and polite. Every text and call were answered immediately and he made the entire process very easy. When I came down to pick up my baby, Jim spent time with me to discuss feeding, health, nutrition and care moving forward. He supplied a care package for my new baby with all the essentials along with written instructions for me to refer back to. Very professional operation! I know that any question or concern I have in the future I can simply call or text and he will make himself available. I highly recommend Jim’s services.

I contacted him per the instructions on his website. He told me in was too ugly and proceeded to call me names and verbally assault me. I have pictures to prove how nasty and unprofessional he is.

I would like to adopt a baby monkey please.And with you service I really wish you could make that come true.������������

I bought a marmoset monkey from him in September 2015 by the beginning of December 2015 the monkey who i grew extremely attached too passed away. I too had read through these reviews but chose to make my own decision on Jim. However, after having this horrible experience happen to me and after reaching out to Jim about the monkey passing away he was 100% unhelpful. After spending $3,500 on the monkey and over 2,000 in vet bills Jim continued to blame me for the monkeys sickness when i had the monkey for less than four months. I do not recommend anyone to buy a monkey from him. He doesn't care about the monkeys or his business he is only in it for the money aspect alone.

Called to inquire about a monkey this man was so rude to me.....please be aware do not call or buy a monkey from him unless u want to be treated like garbage...bad buisness man

We purchased our finger monkeys from Toby @505x433x9562 USDA breeder Lic#7KA752H. We only paid $650 for a male runt 23 weeks. We bought from the Monkey Whisper last Christmas but it got sick and died slowly. So sad. We now have 3 we received from Toby. Mention YP and if you print out this review they said its ok. Save money.

This man is very rude. When asking about prices, he said, and I quote, "you are EXTREMELY STUPID :)"

I was walking by his neighborhood the other day and saw the sign about his business on his pick-up truck. This got me very excited because for years I've been wanting to buy a monkey but didn't know how to find a breeder. I immediately stopped and saw him talking on the phone of his front porch (which I understood that he couldn't talk to me right away). I just pointed at the pick-up truck so that he knew that I was interested on knowing information about his business. He was very rude and said-"Yeah, Yeah you want to know about the monkeys, I'm on the phone just go to the website." Basically, I don't have time for you even if I could've be a potential customer. I saw all the reviews, and now I really don't want to buy a monkey from this guy. He is just plain rude!

Just met Jim today. Do agree that he's cautious on the phone. Not much for people who aren't serious buyers. His house is extremely clean, organized, and he was very informative and personable. He's ex military and served his country for many years. His property is immaculate and the monkeys cages are well maintained. His yard is totally fenced in with security lights and alarm system. My children and I bought two new babies and we are very excited.

HORRIBLE PERSON/BUSINESS. I wish I could give NO stars! I've been talking to him every day for a week about purchasing a lemur (he bought from someone else, he did not breed it but hasn't mentioned that). He has refused to answer whether or not it has seen a vet yet, also. I told him yesterday I would send the deposit and he says "I have 2 left as of tonight". Today, I tell him I sent the deposit and he cusses me out saying I've been wasting his time and that they already sold. Mind you,we have talked every day and he never told me that. I wish I could post his emails where he tells me to "go f*** myself", calls me "sh** for brains", and an "idiot". Horribly unorganized and disgusting human being. I even told him a simple "sorry they already sold" would have sufficed.

Don't take your business here! I called and got the same response as the other reviewers. He was a real a**. I feel sorry for those poor monkeys BC he doesn't care about them

I contacted Jim and talked a few minutes, got off the phone with the feeling that something just didn't sit right, he has no customer service skills, cut and dry, I felt that he was not interested at all in informing me of when I could pick up my marmoset, very vague. I called him the next day and left a message for him to call that my husband wanted to ask a few questions before I send him a deposit, he never called me back and the next day I called and said I needed to ask questions before committing to sending money to someone I don't know, he never called! At this point I was frustrated that a business owner would treat potential customers this way, especially spending $3000.00. I sent a text message and he barely responded, I replied asking a question, no reply from Jim! Thinking maybe he's had a bad day, busy etc.... I called one last time and left a message that we needed clear communication before I agreed to send money.... Still no phone call! He is rude, lacking in skills to run a professional business, he's in this for the money not the love of his monkeys.... I am very disappointed, talked to another breeder tonight and was told that he has taken advantage of people, turned them away after they drove thousands of miles, has told customers he is not running a petting zoo! If you sell to the general public you have to allow future clients to meet you and see your facility if that's what they feel comfortable with before making a deposit. I am sorry I ever thought this person would be reputable enough for me to shell out thousands of dollars for a monkey! I would call another breeder, unless you like being treated badly! Bad businessman... I feel sorry for the monkeys he cares for....

I read these reviews prior to meeting with Jim last week but I prefer to form my own opinions about people based on my own experience, and I'm glad I did. I found Jim to be very down to earth and straight forward, which is my preference when doing business with people. He was very knowledgeable about marmosets and was very patient with all of my questions. I never felt pressured in the least to buy anything. He provided me with all of the necessary paperwork to get my permit. The only reason for not resting him a 5 is because I have not concluded our business yet, but I'm sure all will go smoothly and I will be back to update.

This guy is a real a$$hole wanted to go check out his monkeys and get some info on owning them and he said this ain't a petting zoo so you better be ready to buy. No wonder he's divorced. I'm thinking about knocking him out of business won't bee hard with a attitude like that. Don't call this guy it's worth the gas to travel to another breeder.

I called this place and got a horrible outcome then a text saying "don't call here again a******" if you run a business you aren't suppose to talk to you customers like that I find it very rude and unprofessional. I highly recommend no one to get their finger monkeys from here!

Would not recommend working with this person at all. Is nearly illiterate and is clearly a money hungry snob who cares solely for his cash and not his animals. FIND ANOTHER BREEDER!
