Dr. Nona Kocher is a friendly, calm, and composed psychiatrist. She is a specialist in prescribing psychiatric medication at Quintessence Psychiatry. She welcomes patients from age 13 and up. She treats depression, anxiety, panic disorder, insomnia, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Based in Florida, Dr. Kocher earned her master’s of public health at University of California, Berkeley. She earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Albany Medical College in New York. During her training, Dr. Kocher worked extensively with young adults suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and schizophrenia, and veterans suffering from PTSD, utilizing medication management and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Kocher also involved herself in research on why patients have difficulties attending appointments. Dr. Kocher is committed to helping her patients enjoy a healthier lifestyle. She works with each one to discuss ways they can make better choices for their health. She helps them devise solutions to their issues, making their lives easier and less stressful.
