Thumbs down. I felt like I was not offered a fair price for my mothers silverware. I stood and waited for a really long time while the customer ahead of me was helped.

I I like Mowrey gold becaus they have good salesmen. Walt Hershey brings his canoe and lots of good gold---looking for a race--I remember those good days-- Thanks Walt.

The staff was very knowledgeable, upfront, and great to deal with. I shopped around and this company was on another level from the rest. I highly recommend the W.E. Mowrey Refining Company.

When I first decided to scrap some gold I took my items to several well known buyers in the Twin Cities area that had been covered on a story on the 11 News. I stopped at WE Mowrey last and so glad I did!!! They gave me almost twice the amount more than those 'other guys' offered me for my gold jewelry. Several months later I again tested the waters to find someone else that would pay more, but trust me, there are no others!!! Mowrey pays out the most $$$$! And I have always been treated very professionally at Mowrey. There isn't another place to go to sell gold other than WE Mowrey!!!

I have been doing business with Mowerys since I was a little kid....over 30 yrs ago. I love them and won't go any where else :)

I brought a few pieces of older, partially broken/kinked up gold necklaces/bracelets in to W.E. Mowrey on a Friday afternoon and was promptly greeted by a nice (and kinda hot) guy who expertly weighed and tested (with a magnet to (I think) check the gold content). He told me what each piece was worth and then wrote me a check for $158.00!! The whole process took only about 5 minutes. Great, friendly, fast and knowledgeable service!

I brought some pieces to a jewelry store for estimates and was given a price of $516. When I went to WE Mowry I had pulled the largest piece out after I decided to keep it for senimental reasons. . They gave me $4.00 less than the jewelry store without the largest piece which I was told would be worth $123.00. Mowrey offered me $170.80 based on my description. If I had sold everything I would have made $166.69 more with Mowrey. The Mpls. Star Trib says they are one of three places that pay the highest prices for gold and I now believe it!

W.E Mowrey gave us the highest prices for our scrap gold. knowledgeable employees gave us confidence we made a good choice when it came to selling our gold and silver.
