Unfortunately, while shopping for a body shop, (my car was in an accident) I'm going to automatically avoid using this Body Shop... bad reviews are one thing, but did the owner really come back and write his own review?



You southern peeps are funny people... I still need to find a body shop.

Terrible customer service and amateur work

4/21: We took our vehicle in to have a minor scratch repaired. We got it back and notice they left adhesive residue and a clear coat drip on the opposite side of the one we needed fixed. The owner was EXTREMELY rude when we discussed this error and denied it ever happened. This was a brand new vehicle, so we know it wasn't there before. The owner clearly doesn't use logic, and didn't want to accept that his business was responsible. We will never recommend this place to anyone.



2/18: I feel the 4/27 review left by James sums up my point nicely. That was exactly the attitude I received when I pointed out what I felt was an error made by his shop. That response was IMMEDIATE, and was completely out of line with the context of our conversation. If he'll treat me that way in a disagreement, he'll likely do it to you too. Real professionals are willing to stand behind their work and understand that how they speak with customers goes a really long way. Calling a dissatisfied customer an idiot in a public forum while giving yourself a five-star review instead of taking steps to make it right is just sad and terribly immature; though I guess that's why the quality of the work was equally as sad. In my "idiot" opinion, you do not have 32 years of experience, just the same rookie year of experience repeated 32 times. But thanks for pointing out my deficiency in not knowing my left from my right. I've been working hard on it and feel I'm really close to a breakthrough! Use this shop at your own risk...

Being a repeat customer has a down side but J.R.'s softens the blow and today the finished product looks better than new! The review of 4/21 is an "outlier" and not consistent with me, my friends, neighbors, and other local residents who have done business here for many years.

I hope not but expect I'll be back as we can't make the garage any larger to accommodate the Missus driving skills.

The key word in the Childs' review is "OPPOSITE." Apparently, they are not aware of their left from right. I have been in Camden for 32 years and have never been told that I do "amateur work." I guess every business deals with their share of idiots and Mr. Childs' just happened to be that one.
