choc. cocker

i had a choc cocker come through my grooming shop that a man no longer wanted, he had only had her a week before returning it to the humane society, great backgroud check on that guy by the way!! so i called the humane society to ask if they would put a hold on her for me and that i would be down after work, they said sure, i ask them how much of a donation they would want for holding her, mind you a week before they got 350.00 from the guy before me, the lady say 350.00...i was shocked and very upset! i stayed calm and said to her "she is only going to be there at the most two hours" the lady said well if you dont want to pay it someone else will!!!!! i was so mad!!! needless to say i WILL NOT give that much to the humane society for two hours they are not worthy of it.........and i will tell EVERYONE even my clients not to go to ANY of the branches of this horrible place...to buy from a good breeder or VERY FEW rescuse groups becuse these plases are just out for the money and bigger and better buildings.......so sad so VERY sad for all the poor animals!!!!!!

Terrific!

Between the adoption staff, vet's and obedience training classes, the Macklind Humane Society is a superior place to adopt and provide ongoing care to your new friend.
