I've gotten 6 tattoos from 3 of the artists at Washburn Tattoo and they all look fantastic. Bruce Washburn has surrounded himself with the best artists in the area and has a 1st class Tattoo Parlor. All of the employees are respectful as well as helpful. The artists are all great at what they do and make sure you leave with a top notch tattoo as well as a good experience. If you want a tattoo, then Washburn Tattoo is the place to go. Wes Walter, Renee Mills and Zac Deyo are very talented, and just think I haven't even gotten my tat from Bruce yet. I can't wait for everyone to see it. If you would like to see the tattoos I already have you can visit me on Facebook at Roger Gross.

I used to have a review on Google Reviews but closed the account. I am now on Google + and Facebook. Anyway I wanted to make an update to my original review of Washburn Tattoo. Ive had very good experiences there and highly recommend their shop. I started getting tattoos in 2010 after I retired at age 58. I got 10 different tattoos between 2010 and 2013 at 4 different shops. I like all of my tats and several of the artists were very good. However, none of the tats seemed to have the WOW factor I always wanted. Well I started up again in May 2015 when I found out about Washburn Tattoo in St. Johnsbury. They were getting some really good reviews and word of mouth was great. So I went in to check it out, not sure what I really wanted but knew I wanted something different and thought maybe on the side of my head and face. I talked with Wes Walter and he was very helpful and patient. He helped me pick out two different tribal designs and we combined them into one unique tattoo. I finally got my WOW factor. The design is great and the placement just right. I couldnt ask for a better tattoo and really love it. So that made #11 for tattoos and a new shop to add to my list. I went back twice in May and got two more tats. A spider and a hornet from artist Renee Mills, and thats what she is, an artist. The Red Back Spider looks like it could jump right off my arm. The Giant Japanese Hornet is eating its way out of my flesh. Not only does it look as fierce as the real life version but the wound looks great. The depth and color are spot on. In June I went back again and got another tat from Wes. A scorpion that is very impressive, again Wes pulled off a great tattoo. The next day I got my first tat from Zac Deyo. But that's not fair, I shouldn't call it a tat. It's a piece of artwork. A beautiful and very detailed dragon on my left calf. I hear people walking behind me talking about it all the time. I got another hornet from Renee last week. I've gotten more comments about these last 6 tattoos than I ever got about the first 10.
