Provided by SuperpagesRetained Doug Terry to defend me on some criminal matters. Yes, Doug has been a lawyer for over 30 long, tired years. He has lost any passion (assuming he ever had some)years ago.The Prosecutors case against me was nothing but trumped up heresay. Doug was eager to take my 5000.00 retainer ` then do absolutely nothing beside go before the judge to ask for a continuance~ more time. I fired him twice. First because he refused to hear......I refuse to entertain any plea deal, PERIOD. A year later, Doug is still trying to work me a plea with the Prosecutor. Enough already. When asked him questions pertaining to the law, HE NEVER gave a straight answer, more often than that I'd get a completely different answer to the same question. It took Doug OVER one week, just to get my file from him to give to my new attorney. I received the file a complete mess, out of order and VOID of all interviews from the PI i paid for. Professional. NOT. He's good if you're guilty, I guess. Other than that, he does no give a rip about his clients. I'm filing a confidentially complaint; with the Bar Assoc as well as many others. Guilty. Innocent. Matters NOT to Doug Terry. Screwed either way.

Provided by SuperpagesI have know Doug Terry for over 25 years and find him to be one of the most honest and reputable attorneys in Southern Utah. I have read some of the complaints that people have left him and let me tell you they are so off in left field. Defense attorney's have a very difficult job and when law enforcement put a strong case together with good witnesses and evidence, there is only so much any attorney can do for their client. That being said, Doug has always tried to work out a better solution for his clients to his best ability. He is no superman, but is is a super attorney who cares about his clients and does the absolute best he can do to get the best deal for his clients. He is smart enough to know when a defense for a client is very week, but he still does his best to defend them, even if the outcome is not what his client wanted. Basically if you don't want fines and jail time, "OBEY THE LAW" . I give Doug 5 stars out of 5 for this reason.

Provided by SuperpagesDoug Terry is one of the best lawyers in this state. He will always look at all options and I will speak from personal experience that he is not all about the money he cares for the individual and has their best interest in mind always. Any bad reviews for him must come from people that did not have a good cause in Mind. He will always do what's right.

Provided by SuperpagesHighly recommended. Terry is an excellent attorney. He defended us very well. He is not all about the money. I will use him if anything else arises.

Provided by SuperpagesIt is hard to imagine how the Utah State Bar would ever allow someone so dishonest to represent people in this state. Terri is a disgrace and dishonorable human being whose sole purpose is to take peoples money, and subsequently provide substandard representation. Is this the type of person you want to serve your interests when things get tough?
