VERY RUDE!!!!

I never had any problems up until yesterday. For 19 payments I have either been 1 or 2 days early or on the day of when payment is due. As I'm sure we all have encountered a short of money at one point or another and with it being the holidays I was short about half my car payment. When I called them to see if I could split my payment, half yesterday and half next Friday when I get paid, without it affecting my good standing. I was told no I either pay 85% of payment or the full payment. As I explained that I could not make full or even 85% of my payment the most I could pay is 65% ( which would $295 out of a $454 payment) He told me that wasn't good enough and I would get penalized if I didn't pay at least 85% . He proceeded to tell me that I would need to borrow money from someone to make my payment and I told him I was about to go into work and I don't have anyone. Without skipping a beat he proceeded to tell me since I was going into work that I would need to ask my coworkers for the money. I told him that I'm the type of person to ask people for money specially my coworkers and he said " Yes you are sir you borrowed money from us to get a car" with that being said I felt that was uncalled for and unprofessional. I said since I have made every payment early or on time if there is a way to make an exception this one time and he said "No that even though I have made 19 on time payments my obligation is to make 60 on time payments" again uncalled for and tone was rude.... I could go on and on about this rude conversation but main point is I understand that there is an obligation to pay and not arguing that but when someone pays early or on time I would assume there could be a little leeway for a one time deal. For being a manager I felt he was unprofessional and rude without listening and willingness to work something out. since I was going to take the hit regardless I did not make my payment and going to my bank to refinance.
