Adams Power Shower damaged our patio while performing power washing services, and the owner acted in a completely unprofessional manner when we sent him an estimate to repair the damage. While performing power washing services at our house, Adams Power Shower caused the acrylic seal on our less than one-year old aggregate patio to be removed in spots. As a result, the patio finish is no longer uniform in color and now has numerous light, blotchy spots that mar the finish. We contacted the contractor who did the concrete work for the patio, and he provided an estimate of $600 to repair the bare spots on the patio. After we sent the estimate for repair to Adams Power Shower, I received a phone call from Herbert Adams after 9:30 pm. Mr. Adams was rude and belligerent during the call. He accused our concrete contractor with doing a substandard job, even though he had not been to our property and had not yet seen the damage. He refused to discuss the matter in a calm, rational way. The following day, when he came to our house to look at the patio, he again was rude and unprofessional. He called my husband a "liar" and demanded that he take a lie detector test. He told my husband that "we were trying to get something for nothing." He also threatened to place an improper lien on our home, even though we paid his company in full, in cash, at the time of service. In short, Adams Power Shower did a substandard job, damages our almost new patio, and then acted in a completely unprofessional manner.
