Jeff, Bruce, and the rest of the team over at Canal Bait & Tackle have provide a level of service that you just don't find at any Bass Pro Shops or even the other local places. These guys are there as early as 5am and stay open until 9pm.

Memorial Day weekend everyone else was closed, they stayed open. If you're going to the Cape Cod Canal, and you're new to that fishery/type of waterway, stopping in at CB&T is an absolute must. There is nowhere else that has a pulse of what's happening in the canal like Bruce and Jeff. Ryan Collins of My Fishing Cape Cod even has a third of his weekly podcast dedicated to checking in with Jeff, who provides critical information about fish activity, location, what Bait they're on, what lures are working etc. Jeffs advice, tips, and all around help has probably accounted for easily half the stripers I've pulled from the Canal. His father Bruce has been equally invaluable as a source of guidance, and when paired together this father/son team are literally an encyclopedia of not only fishing the Canal (which for those who know it takes YEARS to build a database of knowledge) but anything from scup to bluefin.

Outside of their knowledge of fishing, all the latest plugs, soft baits, Sebile lures, or the fresh baitfish (mackerel, pogies, squid, eels, sandworms etc. Jeff and Bruce Miller are just genuine, caring, and helpful people, who are completely approachable and enthusiastic to help....and you feel that family atmosphere they've got in the shop.

Whether you're a new angler picking out their first fishing rod, or a seasoned canal rat finally picking up that Van Stahl you've been saving for, Canal Bait & Tackle not only has you covered, but will put a smile on your face and make your experience a great one.
