R U kidding me? The people who wrote the positive reviews are CRAZY, or employees. My daughter and I tried Shanghai Garden for the first time tonight...It was the worst ever! We received a coupon in the mail, and even though we always eat China Cafe (Delicious), we decided to take a chance and try something new. What a mistake! First of all, we called in the order for a pick-up time of 20 minutes. I arrived there in 15 mins., and the food was already up. When I got home a few blocks away, the food was cold. The Wor Wonton soup had no flavor, except for the weird flavor in the large piece of beef. The Beef Broccoli was mostly all beef and little broccoli, you guessed it... very strange tasting. The House Fried Rice was gooey and contained a lot of small shrimp end pieces. The appetizers, cold and flavorless. So, my daughter and I agree that the food was most likely frozen and re-heated. What a complete disgust of so called food! Now were really worried about how we will feel in a few hours.

I love shang hai garden. the food is really good and you get plenty for not a whole lot. There's no delivery fee so thats good, the only thing is sometimes the chow mein has a lil bit too much peanut oil on it and the delivery time is usually about 45 minutes to downtown sacramento.
