I previously took my 100+ year old family Seth Thomas mantle clock elsewhere for repair and was charged $20.00 for an estimate, only to wait 30 days without contact. When I contacted them, I was told it required a $500.00 to $700.00 complete overhaul. Mike Laudi of the Clock Shop immediately saw the two hands were interfering with each other, fixed that, made one small adjustment, and sent me home with the clock. Mike would not permit me to pay him for his time, work, expertise, and kindness. So far, the clock works flawlessly, but if anything ever happens to this or any clock, I will run, not walk, directly back to the Clock Shop in Sacramento for any work they may need, and I recommend everyone else do the same.

Very misleading small business that lacks integrity and is also disingenuous.
