I've been getting mail from the American Legion for sometime now asking for my membership and thought i'd check out one of their "posts" which i found to be nothing but a bar.When i tried to find out more i was ignored..the thing is ..i'm a recovering alcoholic with 25+ yrs. of sobriety and Vietnam was part of the reason..i no longer need to drown my sorrows in booze..this place is just a street bar in a seedy area of Sacramento and if they have any activitys other tha drinking no one would discuss them with me ,i'm very disapointed with this post and wonder if this is all there is.
