Worst experience I have ever had with a "professional". Unfortunately, I can not rate zero stars, even though they need a negative 5 stars. I needed the top half of my house window replaced due to the inside piece being shattered so I called these guys up since I have used them in the past. They came out and did a very "loose" measurement of my window before ordering and told me it would be about a week before it was in. Exactly a week and a half later it was in and they wanted to come out to replace right away. The actual manager came out to install. No precautionary measures were taken, nothing was put on the window to keep the broken glass from falling, and nothing was laid down on my carpet in case glass fell. He took the window right out, didn't cover the open window, came back about 10 minutes later with the new glass and proceeded to install. As he is putting it in, I noticed it was completely different from all of my other windows. It had a black seal and all of my other windows were white. Worried, I very pleasantly asked about it. He said that's just the way they come and kept installing. I told him, obviously they come white because all 30 of my windows are white and this one is black. My house is only 8 years old so it wasn't like the windows were too old and are no longer available. He then took the new window out and walked away. As he is walking to his van, I called out, "so what do we do?" He said, "I'm putting your old broken window back in." I said, "Well how do we go about getting it replaced with the correct color window?" As he walks away he said, "I guess you're going to have to call up the company that made those windows and figure it out." Wow, really?! After researching and calling around, I was informed that he did not measure my window correctly and the reason it looked different was because he ordered a window that was in fact too small, therefore, that was the reason the black seal was showing.
