RTR Middle School provides learning experiences for students in grades six through eight. The school s library media center enables students and staff to effectively locate and use information, as well as encourages lifelong learning. RTR Middle School offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide the reading practices and helps students in improving reading abilities. It provides academic instructions in language arts, health and physical education, music, math, science, social studies and life skills. In addition, it organizes various athletic activities, including volleyball, football, basketball, softball, track and field, golf and baseball. RTR Middle School is a part of the RTR Public Schools and is located in Russell, Minn.
