I need to include this review due to my disappointment in what once was the best takeout in town. The China Inn, at one time delivered food that rivaled some of the best places in Philly China Town. Today and over the past year the quality of their food has gone down dramatically. We have yet to figure out why the sudden change, perhaps they lost their lead chef? A lack of ownership supervision? The food is passable but today rates along the same, tired boring lines of most every other mediocre place around. The food (chicken on stick) is often burned to the consistency of jerky, the seasonings are either improper, too much or nearly not enough and the ingredients are not as fresh. Again, we are extremely disappointed for this because this place was one of our absolute favorites and we once considered ourselves lucky to live so close to such great food. I hope the owners see my review and think carefully about how to bring back both their business and reputation.
