My favorite restaurant in Royal Oak. Not a bad thing on the menu.

I absolutely love this restaurant. When I heard the chef was from Beverly Hills Grill, I knew it would be good. The food is creative, delicious, well prepared and presented, the specials are always interesting, and some of the staples on the menu are personal favorites - pulled chicken salad, roasted exotic mushroom appetizer with boursin, the grilled asparagus and the meatloaf. Not forgetting the Ray's ice cream! Service is always friendly and professional, they have a nice front patio, though some of the tables are a little cramped, but the front floor to ceiling doors open completely in nice weather to bring the outside in to the front of the restaurant. I ate there with a friend last night, and my husband and I are ordering carry outs tonight! Yes, it's a little spendy, but worth it. We don't splurge on vacations, sporting events or concerts and don't have kids, so we like to indulge in really good food a couple times a month, and this is my current fave.

This place has very good food, but let me tell you that it will COST you. If you want a drink, lets say a jagermeister and red bull for example, thats going to be ten dollars. A cheeseburger a la carte will cost you over ten dollars as well. The wait staff there is friendly, so friendly that i had to wonder how far much more sugary-sweet she could get!?
