The Main is an anchor business in downtown Royal Oak and brings people in from all over the Detroit area to see "art films" or quirky independent/alternative films (or cult classics at midnight shows) that can be seen nowhere else. The interior of the theatre has been restored to its original look from the 20s(?). The staff is nice, but it is the variety and quality of films that keep people coming back.
