I ordered a "Nothing Further" Certificate with this title co. at the Round Rock office in early February for a property dispute issue related to a 1/2 ownership interest (the Certificate was requested by my attorney).



North American Title missed an extremely important 1/2 ownership interest by NOT including the title history of the other 1/2 owner so I had to correct them and request a reorder.



I had to repeat with emails/phone calls to the escrow agent because their office didn't follow-up with me on status updates on my reorder. About 10 days later, I received the additional information via electronic attachment without any summary or explanation on what the additional search produced, or an amended Abstractor's Certificate.



I contacted North American Title repeatedly but the escrow agent never responded back. Frustrated, I contacted the Abstractor Agent directly, but the Abstractor would not amend the incomplete Certificate.



My attorney was also surprised with the unacceptable quality of work provided. The law firm also won't be using North American Title for future business.



I don't know about the other North American Title offices in the area, but this Round Rock office should have their employees get customer service skills training, and the corporate office should start a quality control management plan to improve the quality of products and services rendered.
