One of our goals is to help identify your priorities. We have many clients who divide large jobs into smaller complete portions and install one per year. We can help you determine the best way to divide up a job so you will avoid pitfalls and backtracking often associated with multi-phase installations.We are well versed in drainage, it is our #1 concern at the start. Once grade is established, we install drainage and irrigation, then the hardscape. Concrete patios, flagstone patios, retaining walls and pathways are very popular. We also install textured and colored concrete patios.We install many decks, fences, arbors, and hot tub shelters, and we are so lucky to have high quality locally milled cedar available from Kubich Lumber.We select water conserving plants, shrubs, and trees that are appropriate for the Grass Valley/Nevada City area (Sunset zone 7).Finally, a little night lighting can add a nice touch to the landscape.When your landscape plantings are designed for maintenance as well as beauty, you will have a beautiful and functional Custom Landscape for decades.Adam Rowe is the owner of Custom Landscapes.
