I hired them to take down a tree and also to clear some weed growth along the edge of my fence (5' wide x 80'long). They did a great job of taking down the tree but a miserable job of clearing the land. I asked them to clear the weed and vine growth so I could sod the space, and all they did was take a chainsaw and cut off the weeds/vines about 2" off the ground (it took 45 minutes) and charged me $375. When I talked to the owner, he said if I wanted it to be all gone, it would have taken grading work, which would have cost much more. When I asked for the quote, I told them to get rid of all the growth. Cutting with a chainsaw didnt cut it. It has been 3 weeks and the vines/weeds are over 1' tall already. So, morale of the story is, hire them to take down trees, but don't hire them for anything else, they aren't competent and will not address your issues
